SAN DIEGO, CA, June 2, 2006 — Ohio Governor Bob Taft visited ISE Corporation facility June 2 to learn more about the progress of the company's hybrid electric drive system applications for heavy-duty vehicles. The Governor had lunch with ISE's executives, viewed a short presentation of the company and its product lines, toured the production facility, and inspected two hybrid electric vehicles.
Among the topics discussed were possible broad cooperation between ISE and several Ohio organizations on hydrogen vehicle development, especially fuel cell applications.

During the ISE production facility tour, the Governor inspected the gasoline hybrid cradle on display, walked through the hybrid system production line, and surveyed a number of hybrid system-to-vehicle integration work in progress. ISE also made available two hybrid vehicles for the Governor’s inspection and test drive: the new fuel-cell tractor, and the Long Beach Transit gasoline hybrid 40-foot bus.
