DIEGO, CA, July 16, 2008 — ISE Corporation
today announced the appointment of Richard Sander as
Chief Executive Officer and the appointment of David
Mazaika as Chairman of the Board. Both appointments
are effective August 1, 2008. Mr. Sander will retain
his previous title of President and succeed Mr. Mazaika
as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mazaika will take on
the new role of Chairman of the Board and responsibilities
for advising ISE on key technology development projects
and strategic growth opportunities.
Under Mr. Mazaika's
vision, ISE has experienced rapid growth in sales
and production and has been a pioneer in many advanced
hybrid technologies, including ISE's unique gasoline
hybrid technology and hydrogen hybrid technology.
Mr. Mazaika co-founded ISE with Michael Simon and has
served as a director and executive officer since ISE's
incorporation in 1995. As Chairman, Mr. Mazaika will
continue to play a key role in shaping strategic growth.
Over
the past 13 years, ISE has grown to be a recognized
leader in hybrid drive systems for heavy duty buses and
trucks. "The company is now evolving to a volume manufacturer
of hybrid systems," said Mr. Mazaika. "Rick's extensive
experience in manufacturing in the transportation
industry will enable the company to meet both the high
quality standards and rapid growth being demanded in
the marketplace. His experience at Bombardier's aircraft
division and heavy duty truck experience at Kenworth,
provide the ideal skill set to take the company to
the next level."
ISE will continue its
focus on being the leading designer, developer and manufacturer
of the highest quality and technologically advanced hybrid
drive systems in the industry.
Mr. Sander brings over
24 years of extensive manufacturing, supply chain management,
quality, engineering and general management. Mr.
Sander holds a MBA from San Diego State University and
a BS in Engineering from Oregon State University.
